Rooms that must grow with the child

A Kirchberg two-bedroom flat often gives the smaller room to a child while parents keep the master alcove. That smaller footprint needs vertical storage so floor space stays clear for a desk and reading corner.

We plan rail positions at three heights — toddler, primary, teen — with pre-drilled fixing holes hidden behind cover strips until each move is needed.

Drawers a child can reach alone

Lower bank drawers hold daily clothes; soft-close runners reduce finger traps. Rounded front edges and push-to-open options suit families who prefer handle-free faces for easier wiping.

Upper modules stay for out-of-season items and spare bedding that parents retrieve. A small step stool recess can be drawn into the toe kick if the client wants independent access to higher shelves.

Study zone beside the wardrobe

When the desk must sit on the same wall as storage, we align shelf depth with desk depth so the room reads as one plane. Cable grommets and a narrow LED shelf reduce desk lamp clutter on shallow worktops.

Shared rooms for two children split hanging fifty-fifty with colour-coded drawer internals noted on the plan so each child knows which bank is theirs.

Safety and fixing in Luxembourg buildings

Tall carcasses anchor to stud or block walls with quoted fixings; hollow plasterboard alone is not accepted without reinforcement. Anti-tip straps appear on the drawing when furniture exceeds 1.4 m and sits near a bunk bed.

Low-VOC board grades are default for children's rooms. Finish codes favour wipeable laminates over open-pore veneers that mark easily with crayon and tape.

Package timing and fee

Kids wardrobe plans typically deliver within ten working days from measure at €620. Shared-room layouts with two hanging zones sit toward the upper end of that band.
